The Objective of the Congress
The Congresses of the Polish Communication Association are the most important events for the Polish media studies community. Their primary purpose is to integrate Polish media researchers representing various research paradigms, as well as to contribute to the development of a new academic discipline – the science of social communication and media. They also aim to unite the community of both scholars and practitioners of communication.

Organizers
The main organizer of the congress is the the Polish Communication Association, which is together with the Institute of Journalism and Media Communication of the University of Silesia in Katowice.
